Condo Transformation 2012 and I love it.

Ok I have wanted to change my floors for the last 6 years and with my Lay off from Symantec I have been able to pay off all my small credit card debt, get some appliances that I really needed and now a beautiful new floor in my condo.
First the before pictures Monday September 24th!
Note the Ugly orange tile on the right that is in the entry way and in the kitchen too...

This is the day the work started and I was anxious to come home to see this:

And then the work just progressed...Tuesday I came home to this:

Tuesday night I decided to have Mike include the kitchen tile as well so Wednesday no new flooring but check out the carnage in the Kitchen!

Thursday night I came home to tile without grouting in the kitchen and the rest of the floor laid with no base boards I was saying in my head LOOKS GREAT!!!

Finally everything in place and furniture back in the home where it belonged

Finally some area rugs for the marimba and the living room area

LOVE my NEW FLOORS!

  1. I’ve always loved wooden floor tiles! They are so naturally classy. But, your condo could use a different wall paint. And the bookshelves are a bit ‘off’ in that area. You should try wall-mounted bookshelves, and then place a small table underneath them to add accent to that area. Oh! And, your sofa is a bit too close to the wall.
