Kishindo Martial Arts: Angel Williams Black Belt Ceremony August 13, 2011
I discussed the time with Master Davis and we decided on 4 oclock for the start of the demos and ceremony.
Well that turned out to be more like 4:40 start due to us having to wait for one more Black Belt to come and witness the ceremony.
So we all go there in the heat of the dojo and just talked and mingled...somewhat.. it ended up that the kids were ever so more excited to play with all the toys that Master Davis keeps in the Dojo for his Grandkids.
So here is a break down of the events as they transpired:

I was honored to have so many of my friends there in attendance. And only wished I could have been closer to my Mom and Dad so that they could have come up for it. But we recorded it in video and mom and dad will see it then.
One last treat... Breaking 2 Bricks for fun!
Turning 50!
Well I did it I finally turned 50 but not before I got my Black Belt and Sensei-ship in Kishindo Martial Arts!
Black Belt Test July 27, 2011:
I took the day off and had been practicing almost nightly for over a month on the various techniques, katas and knowledge I would have to display.
I got a 89% out of 100. I was exhausted when I was done it took almost 5 hours and the last was with sparring. I still have much to learn and work on to get better but black before 50 was now a completed goal!
Turning 50!
Well Aug 3rd, 2011 was my 50th Birthday... do I feel 50? well somedays I feel a bit slower than others but no I don't know what 50 feels like.. does it feel different?
My Brother and His wife Debbie had a Birthday party for me on Aug. 6, 2011 so I was able to share my day with my friends and family. Master Davis and his wife Gigi came, Tim and Heidi Irwin with their kids Torrie and Tim came, Roxann and Steve Hardcastle came with their son Cole and his friend. Juanita my older sister came, Jamie, Jax and Trevon all came up to enjoy some bowling and the Christensen Clan came! Leslie, Paul, Cambria ( who turns out to be a fiend at bowling), Braxton and Gunner. As well as the Hosts with the Most Debbie and Charles. My younger brother Joe couldn't be there due to work. We call my mom and dad while we were bowling so they could be a part of it also :)
I had a blast we got to do 2-3 games and I think all had fun, Braxton and Gunner got a little bored on game 3 and Jax did some games around that same time. I appreciate my Little brother Chuck and his wife Debbie for organizing this fun day!
Here are some lovely Highlights!

Movie Summer is upon us!!!
Hi all,
Yea me again... not much to say but I am excited for the movies that we are seeing now :)
well May brought us THOR!! and his mighty chest!! oops I mean his mighty warhammer!
ok what am I saying I Love this guys body! The actor took the part and embraced it as well as a great cast. They brought humor, wit and yes Sexy man CHEST to THOR!
I suggest you all see it.
Next we had an adaptation of Preist a Japanes Graphic novel and I have to say it was not bad.. its a good popcorn movie if you need a movie to see...
Then we had Pirates of the Caribbean 4th installment. Again a good movie it has nothing to do with the first 3 other than it is a story that is a part of the infamous pirate's Captain Jack Sparrow's Life. Great acting and no preaching from Orlando Bloom!!!
Then just to add some fun to our summer we got a second Kung Fu Panda where we get to see the development of the friendship between Po and the fabulous 5.
Its really cute and again well done humor, wit, action and sorry to say 3d of a panda butt :)
And finally to finish off May and start of June we had Xmen First Class, a new handling of the Xmen line now that Disney yes Disney owns Marvel. It shows the making of Cerebro and forming of the school as well as showing that Magneto was destined to be the antagonist.
I may not know which comic this story came from but it was a well thought out and presented telling of a good story.
June and July will be exciting with Green Lantern, Captain America, Harry Potter final part II of 7, Cars 2, Transformers 3, Winnie the Pooh, Cowboys and Aliens.. the list goes on and on... so stay tune for my next post of the movies I see in JULY!!!

Knock knock knock... anybody there???
HI all,
Yes its my semi annual posting here on my blog. I apologize for my lack of blogging it is just not my strong suite.
What has been going on?
Well I hurt my sciatic nerve a couple weeks ago, I thought I could ignore it and just stretch it out and it would be ok..
however a week from the day I first noticed it I was in so much pain in my left leg I was ready to see a doctor.
I went to the IHC just for some relief, while I waited for an open appointment at the Smart Clinic. The Doctor there prescribed some steroids (YIPPEE!) and muscle relaxants and therapy. So I then made an appointment at a Spine clinic where one of my coworkers goes for his neck issues. I got some treatment and Thursday night i was in less pain than I had been in over a week.
AMAZING. I got an mri on Friday and today i am feeling pretty good, still don't know what the mri says will find that out tomorrow when I go to my next session at that Spine clinic. I cancelled my appointment at the Smart Clinic because I was feeling so good this week. The only problem is my left foot is numb on the last 3 toes and my left calf gets really tight and I need to stretch it alot.
I am still working on taking my Black Belt test my goal is to do it before I turn 50 so that gives me till Aug 3rd this year!!!!
The nerve issue is cutting into my practise time and yes i think my brain is going dull because I don't memorize as well as I used to back in College LOL
Now for some of the fun I love to provide in my posts...
Broadway shows I am seeing in the next few months via Broadway Across America:
Young Frankenstein!!!!
Then I believe the next thing I am going to see is Riverdance their final tour... never seen it live but am looking forward to some
fun irish dancing :) and some good drums I am hoping!
And then finishing up with a performance of Les Miserables:
a full broadway schedule there... makes me long to be back in NYC.
As for Movies this year... it is the year of the COMIC BOOKS!!!
I am so psyched for this year to get past this month LOL
for those of you who know how much I love a good body check out THOR!!! May 6th!!!
See you at the Theater!
